         End of last month saya pi supermarket nak beli cream, salesgirl yang jaga tempat tu came to me,     "Kak, nak cari apa kak?"     "Saja nak tengok2 cream  ni.          Di Perlis bila tanya budak2 about their hobbies . they would come up with answers like computer games, football, picnic, fishing, cycling, chess, watching tv etc etc.        No one would stand up and say watching movies at the cinema..Its hard for them to explain about 'cinema' apatah lagi about cineplex. because there is no cinema in Perlis. The last one was Panggung Capitol. Now dah jadi Dewan Capitol for the UNIMAP students.       A cinema is a strange word to many Perlis primary school pupils..When I mentioned this word to them in class , I had a hard time  explaining that a cinema is  where you can watch a movie on a big giant screen where images and stories are being projected for you to see...Maklum kadang2 keluar dalam UPSR the word cinema tu.Lepas cerita2 they can figure out and boleh imagine what a cinema is all about      The neares...

         I was in the kitchen when a friend called. She was my classmate in the primary school from year 1 to year 6 .All those years in the same class. So sembang itu ini, about her family, about mine, about our old friends ,Tanya orang tu orang ni..Last2 we made a promise to visit our old friends.         Today after asar I went picked her at her house.                                                                My second cucu is coming soon. Due date is suppose to be in early March.        A friend, a teacher called and asked if I could give a personal tuition to her son (English yr 6 ).Oh baru ingat she has a twelve year old son nak ambik UPSR this year.        With a heavy heart I have to refuse. I have stopped giving tuition 10 years ago.Dah lama tu..Dulu rumah semi-detatched ni di tambah 2 ruang for that purpose.I taught English while my 3 other friends for Bah Malaysia, Science and Mathematics.We went on well, budak bertambah from 25 to 135.So I have to used the spare room for the extra numbers.        Mengajar la...workload dah berganda, dengan kerja di sekolah plus tuition di rumah, plus kerja routine di dapor..bertungkus lumus..weekends jadi lebih sibuk dari hari2 biasa..no rest langsung. basuh baju waktu semua orang dah tidur.         Pakaian for tthe next day kena siap jugak..baju nak pair dengan beg mana, kasut mana..kecantikan jangan lup...
